As a team holding diverse formal conveyancing and/or legal qualifications, coupled with property expertise, we have a strong base to work with and consider ourselves specialists in property rules and regulations.
We also speak multiple languages if English is not your first language. We speak fluent English, Mandarin Cantonese, or Japanese.

We are subject to, and practise under the provisions of the Legal Profession Act (2004) (Victoria), and we carry professional indemnity insurance with the Legal Practitioners’ Liability Committee of Victoria. Liability limited by a scheme approved under Professional Standards Legislation.

Jorden established W Legal Group in 2011, a business that started with one lawyer and a university graduate. During her time as director, Jorden led a team of high-performing lawyers to ensure premium quality services were delivered to its clients. Jorden took an interest in leveraging technology and data in business practice which is foundational to W Legal’s exceptional service delivery. Her unparalleled intuition and support have inspired the team at W, who are proud to carry forward her legacy into the future.
Beatrice Duong, managing director

Beatrice is the Managing Director at W Legal Group and focuses on providing leadership, strategic guidance and input on business development for the firm. Having had extensive experience in the property industry and worked with a range of clients from commercial property developers to retail individuals, Beatrice brings this wealth of knowledge to coaching and leading the team. Beatrice holds a Bachelor of Laws, and Bachelor of Arts with a Chinese Language Specialisation from Monash University. She is a qualified Australian legal practitioner and admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria. Beatrice takes a particular interest in simplifying legal practices and procedures to enhance efficiency of services to clients.
Mavis Ng, lawyer – team leader

Mavis is a lawyer and assists in the delivery of five-star legal services to our clients. Mavis has a catalogue of legal experience and years of customer service to ensure our clients a successful process from engagement to settlement. Mavis holds a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Arts (Chinese) from Deakin University, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Australian National University. She is a qualified Australian legal practitioner and is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria. Her professional interests include learning more about workplace relations to protect and uphold the rights of employees and clients.

Sara is a lawyer and is dedicated to assisting clients in a professional and compassionate matter. She has a strong work ethic and a history of working in customer service to ensure client satisfaction. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology) and Bachelor of Arts (International Relations) from The Ohio State University (U.S.A.), Juris Doctor from the University of Melbourne, and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Leo Cussen Centre for Law. She is a qualified Australian legal practitioner and is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria. Sara is interested in finding ways to simplify the legal processes to help clients understand and make informed choices.
